             BACKGROUND INFO :

Lori Loughlin began her career in front of the camera as
a print model at age 12. During her early teen years she was featured
in television commercials, and was frequently seen in national print
ads like the Sears catalog and Bradlees weekly flyers.

At age 15, Lori was cast on ABC's daytime drama, "The Edge of Night",
playing the part of Jody Travis, an 18-year-old. After three-and-a-half
years, prompted by the urging of her fellow actor, the late Joel Carothers,
Lori decided to try her luck in feature films and television.

Lori's most well known role to date has been that of 'Rebecca Donaldson'
on the ABC Television Network's "Full House". After the demise of that
show, she starred in several network television movies. She is married
to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, and has two daughters.

             TRIVIA TIDBITS :

Lori was junior lifeguard before she became an actress.

Lori had the lead role as Emmeline in 'The Blue Lagoon (1980)',
but later turned it down...it then went to Brooke Shields.

Lori's first big break was on the soap "Edge of Night". The producers
were looking for someone to play the part of a dancer. Lori lied during
the audition and got the part. After she was hired, the writers had
to rewrite her part to accomodate the fact that she couldn't dance very well.
