§ Friends

Bryan Caplan Economist and friend of mine who is a true scholar. Check out his "Museum of Communism."

Dave Euchner Friend of mine who is among the smartest (and most talkative) people I know. He's also ran for Congress as a Libertarian, getting about 4% of the votes in his area. He also plans to run again in 2002.

Thomas Gramstad A post-Objectivist from Norway. He runs the Randian-Feminist list among other things.

Chris Sciabarra Another professional looking site by the noted scholar and author of the same name. He's author of Total Freedom: Toward a Dialectical Libertarianism, Ayn Rand: The Russian Radical, and Marx, Hayek, and Utopia and editor of The Journal of Ayn Rand Studies.

Matthew Stoloff An online bibliography of Objectivism and Ayn Rand focusing on stuff not contained in Mimi Gladstein's guide.

§ Magazines and Publications

Aristos Thoughful stuff on art and esthetics.

Chronicles Site for the paleoconservative magazine of the same name. While I'm not a paleoconservative, the writing is very good and often gives me pause. It's not so much that I agree with it as it gets me thinking.

The Daily Objectivist Lots of new material on Objectivism and Objectivists.

The Free Radical New Zealand's (and possibly the world's) best magazine dedicated to freedom.

Full Context Newsletter of the Objectivist Club of Michigan. Even though that might not sound all that great, this is a pretty decent Objectivist publication overall. It encourages open debate about almost everything.

Geometry and Topology Refereed online journal focusing on geometry and topology. Great stuff if you're into higher math.

In Principle Newsletter of the now defunct Central Jersey Objectivists.

Monadnock Peter Saint-André's very professional site with the online magazine of the same name.

Objectivity A real journal as opposed to what usually passes for a journal in Objectivist circles. This one is thick, technical, and well reveiwed. It will be publishing again. See Enlightenment for details.

The Thought A magazine a few of my works appeared in the early 1990s. The online archive is too small. In fact, a large fraction of its online material is on my site. The editor is dedicated more to nonvirtual publishing.

§ Organizations

American Mathematical Society Lots of neat stuff on mathematics, including their extensive list of books for sale. Some articles and free downloads too.

Extropy Institute My kind of people.

Independent Gay Forum Proof that not all gays are looking for a handout, moral or otherwise.

The Life Extension Foundation Want to be young forever? Check this page out! Lots of information on supplements.
